If you design your own logos in Photoshop, then you have to stop what you're doing, because you're doing it wrong. First of all, Photoshop is a pixel-based editor and you need a vector-based editor. LogoMaker provides you with everything you need to create and edit logos. It lets you build them from scratch or use existing shapes and figures to combine into new ideas.

LogoMaker is free to try for a limited period of time, without any functionality restrictions. Its setup package is rather large and it may take a few minutes to download, especially with a modest Internet connection. The software works on all popular Windows platforms and it doesn't have any special requirements.

The software places many useful features at your disposal. On the surface, it looks like your run-of-the-mill application in which you have to select a few shapes and you're done, but this isn't the case. While there are countless objects you can just place on a blank canvas, there is much more you can do. Besides transforming objects and changing colors, you can also make them 3D, create animations, add effects and much more. Also, the software lets you work on separate layers, which should make things significantly easier.

Combining and transforming shapes is not all you can do. The software comes with a shape editor, which is not something you see everywhere. You can find it on the same interface, but on a separate tab. Just like in the logo creation section, you can insert various shapes and objects on the canvas, but you can also take them apart piece by piece and rearrange them however you want.

To help you get started, LogoMaker places a good amount of templates at your disposal. Additionally, you an connect to its website, on the desktop user interface and download more fonts or other resources and view a list of slogans, if you can't come up with your own.

Designing a logo doesn't have to be a task for professionals, when using LogoMaker.

Pros

The software places countless shapes and objects at your disposal and it lets you combine and transform them however you want. It also comes with a shape editor, which you can use to take shapes apart piece by piece.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to address.
